Shipping
Shipping to anywhere in the continental United States is free for all orders over $199.
Orders totaling less than $199 will be charged shipping according to the estimated shipping weight of the items ordered.
For these orders, we charge the following:
- Up to 1 lb - $7.50
- 1 to 2 lbs - $10.95
- 2 to 3 lbs - $12.95
- 3 to 4 lbs - $15.50
- Over 4 lbs - $17.50
We ship all packages by USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground unless otherwise instructed. For special shipping
arrangements or to ship orders outside the Continental U.S., contact us for a shipping quote. You can also complete your
order online and choose "Email Shipping Cost" as your shipping option, and we will contact you before charging your
credit card to work out shipping arrangements. |

Sales Tax
By California law, we are obligated to collect state sales tax on all orders shipped within
the state of California. Additionally, we are required to collect San Francisco district sales tax for orders shipped there, and
also BART district sales tax for orders shipped to Alameda and Contra Costa counties. The current percentages are:
- Shipping to San Francisco - 8.5%
- Shipping to Alameda and Contra Costa counties - 7.75%
- Shipping elsewhere in California - 7.25%
We do not charge sales tax on orders shipped outside of California, however your state may require you to pay a "Use Tax"
on out-of-state orders. |

Returns
If you find that the product you order
fails to meet your expectations or is defective in any way, you may return the item to us for a full
refund of the purchase price. All returns must be received within 45 days of the purchase date.
Products must be returned to us in their original packaging and condition (please include all paperwork and product
instructions). Any software with opened packaging is not returnable. Please contact us to receive an authorization number before returning any item. |

Security
We take the security of our customers' information very seriously.
We use every method possible to make sure that your online shopping experience is a safe one.
For all online transactions, we use an encrypted Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection between
your computer and our server. All the information that is stored on our server is password-protected and/or encrypted.
As soon as we receive notice of your order, we download your information to our office using another SSL connection.
To further minimize the possibility of a hacker gaining access to your credit card information, we delete this data
from our server as soon as it has been downloaded to us.
We do not process your credit card automatically online. Instead an actual human being will process your
order from our office. If any order appears to be fraudulent or erroneous, or if we have any questions, we will
contact you by phone or email to verify your order personally. |

Privacy
The personal information that we collect will not be sold or traded to anyone else.
We will use it only to fulfill and track your order and for our accounting purposes. Any email that we send to you
will be clearly identified as coming from American Weather Enterprises, and we will not send you spam email. |

temporarily store information that you provide for later use by the website that created it. Our site, like most
e-commerce websites, uses cookies to keep track of your order and your personal information before it is sent to
